Bah, only just turned FH on, can't help you there . The rule is bound to be on the net somewhere, or someone on Owlstalk will have heard it.
Yes, that pic is bloody hideous.
Yes, nothing Kaven Walker says seems to help us at all, why we actually need to come out with stuff about making bids for players I don't know. I've covered this before about it really not helping the board, surely they can see that.

Ha, just looked on Owlstalk and there was a new thread about the deadline just popped up. It was 24th November, so basically gives us 6 days to bring someone in before January. Worrying.

As for Redan, I think I read somewhere that he'd gone for a trial at Preston as well as Wednesday. Probably nothing will come of it.

Watford 2 Owls 1
Simply not good enough as it is. We only seemed to start playing in the last 10/15 minutes, and then we only put on some sustained pressure in the last few minutes (when we finally scored through Whelan). However, I still feel absolutely gutted we didnt snatch a point at the death as Peacock missed a "Glaring chance" (as was said by Skysports) - once again showing a traffic cone has more striking ability up front.
With Bullen taken off in the first 10 minutes with a hamstring injury we have yet more problems. Since Cocko was injured we've had no presence at the back, and Lee/Wood are simply not good enough. With Diallo, Simek and Cocko i'd be more confident.
We were poor in the first half (again), and atm our team doesnt have the depth to be good enough. We need several signings, from a striker, midfielder and another defender, but there's 5 days left to find these players - and I doubt we will bring anyone in.
Better news is that Morgan will miss the derby after being sent off for violent conduct.

| It's club culture. It was going on way back in 1998 as well, names like Dani, Michael Preetz and Makaay (!) being linked with us and the club admitting an interest in all, and claiming a £5m bid for the former.

True, but this should have changed. New board, same b0llocks - it doesnt help Sturrock who specifically said last season when he came in that he doesnt reveal transfer dealing until they are signed, sealed and delivered. Yet ofc that doesnt help Allen and Kavens spin machine, so they reveal 'big money' bids, that have now ruined any chance of signing someone for a reasonable fee.
Interesting stat on Owlstalk tonight about Rocky in the team. I thought Sturrock dropped a big clanger when he left Rocky on the bench again today, but here's the stat:

With RocastleP W D L F A PTS12 3 6 3 10 12 15 Without RocastleP W D L F A PTS7 1 1 5 7 13 4

Hahaha yeah, I'm sure I remember reading about the Dani link I think in the Star. Kaven of course has the duties of commercial director, making him responsible for getting us that highly lucrative Napoleons Casinos sponsorship . I don't know if he's at all responsible for the club shop, but thats been taken the p**s out of enough on Owlstalk for me to need to say anything at all about that.
On Rocastle, Sturrock doesn't like to change a winning side, to maybe he should change a losing one, Rocky should be back in next game. Rocky and one other for a change, as opposed to Whelan seemingly being guarenteed a place.

Better Rocky Stat:

OVERALLWhen Rocastle has started: W10 D10 L5When he hasnt: W2 D2 L8

Pretty conclusive evidence towards him starting games. Without Rocky we have no defensive midfield and we get easily overrun.

We're in this relegation battle with you lot, and with our keeper potentially leaving we are knackered.

| New board? Yes, Dave Richards left, but apart from that it's much the same from the Richards and Premiership days I'm afraid...
