well hold on, you can't just walk into a Kitchen on the first day and advocate sacking someone, taking away their livelihood. Like you said, maybe Ramsay thought he had just lost his passion.
Although Ramsay sacked that chef on the first day in this series that restaurant in Paris, when it was totally clear he was mental, so thats proved he does do that, when there is no other option but if Ramsay just walked into every restaurant and started sacking everyone then what kind of a show would it be? He really wouldn't be improving anything, the whole key to the programme, is his ability to motivate, which is very high.
