Ramsey is quite tame to some of the male chefs ive seen work before.
My mum was trained many many years ago by some polish geezer who used to lob cleavers around the kitchen if the food wasnt 100% up to his standards.

We have a new American version of the show on Wednesday nights on Fox. It's pretty entertaining so far. I've already noticed the difference of how much cursing he's allowed on British tv as opposed to our airwaves. He's bleeped out a bit more over here so far  | |

Must say i didn't enjoy the American version as much. It's all far too staged (obviously our one is as well but not nearly to the same extent) and you miss large sections of the fb bits where basically Ramsay eduacates the owner on how to best run his/her kitchen. Plus there's a horrible makeover section to it as well.
