| I think you can get a 'pass without honours' if you drop just below a third doing an honours degree.
I may be completely wrong though.

say, hypothetically, you got a 2:2, but then went on to get a masters in a relevant area of study to the job you're pursuing, would employers be likely to give credit to that, or would they see the 2:2 and treat it like any other 2:2 applicant?

At Oxbridge a 4th is possible. Otherwise in most cases you don't get a degree. You'll have to retake what you failed. Sometimes you can get an open degree.

| Do many places accept you onto a masters with a 2:2?

I have no idea what I'll do after that. Would like to stay in academia, but financially it's not really viable.

I've seen some that do yeah, but I've numbed my brain reading about jobs and careers for the past few hours I'm probably just spouting rubbish

Yeah, know my mate has done a masters in housing after getting a 2:2 was at Sheffield Hallam though.
Pretty sure if you leave it late enough to apply & there's course places they'd even accept a 3rd end of the day it's taking a place for them that would otherwise be unfilled meaning they get 1 extra student's fee's plus are one step nearer to filling their enrollment targets.

KPMG London Office - Public Sector Audit Department.
Should never have gone into it at all tbh - the 'public sector' bit attracted as I have an interest in policy, but I should have tried to go down an advisory route instead. Although I doubt I would have got a look in as my degree is non-financial / business.
Pay was great though - what kept me at it for as long as it did in all honesty.

Nah from what i was told you'd get a pass without honours if you passed everything apart from one module - the honours bit just means you passed every module not the level you passed them at.

So you quit with a year to go until you qualified? I've heard a lot of reports about the first couple of years - in big firms especially - that the work is dull, but don't you think that things would've improved?
