I haven't read all the thread yet, but yeah it's all so overwhelming. I'm in my RD year and am beginning to feel like I'm drowning and it's only coming up to december.
it's not only the work, it's the added pressure of jobs, careers and recruitment and the added bonus of getting in early. argh.
I need a 62% average this year for a 2:1. first work I got back was 52% (okay, it's only worth about 1.5% of the year's total, but still), it's going to be a long hard year
Don't really care much for some graduates - those with stuff in Maths, Sciences, Accountancy, etc. (Proper subjects) are fine with me - they deserve them. Those with stuff like "Media Studies", or "Golfing Dynamics", etc. (basically those zany subjects that majke the press) are scum.
Me - we'll I've worked myself up into a pretty decent IT role in a local company which works all over the world (Drainage Surveys, River Flow Studies, etc.) - all self taught and without recourse to get myself into £10,000 worth of debt
