BA and MA in History at Uni of Sheffield.
Now doing a PhD and part-time tutor here, before a career in academia with a bit of luck |

Graduated Summer 07 with a First in History from Manchester, doing my MA in Modern British History this year. Have a PGCE interview in Leeds next Monday.

Temple University, Finance & Risk Management in 04
Got a job 6 months before graduating that I kept until a couple months ago when a moved to NYC for a more interesting job in the same field.
So my degree pretty much got me where I am today :thup:

Economics from Trent. Lower 2nd.
Degree is pretty worthless unless you get a 2:1 - and Economics is very much the wrong subject for that if you want to enjoy uni life to its fullest.
Aside from padding a CV I doubt it had any influence on the job I currently have. If anything, getting a 2:2 probably sets you behind someone who never took a degree. It says; "Had a go, couldn't cut the mustard".
Still, I had a fb time. :thup:
I think the degree itself is in a drawer somewhere, dunno though.

I only ask as I'm in the middle of a gazillion interviews and could do with taking on all the advice on board that I can. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Just advice on what sort of questions to expect, how to prepare for them and then when I got to the final stage, how to do in the e-tray exercise, the group exercise and the partner presentation etc.

Rocky, whats accountancy like? been interested in it as a possible career for a while and now I'm in Year 10 with my work expierence coming up, I would really like get some more information about it.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
