8-6 for the secondaries on sprint, think i'll keep her there and heavily train the speed. With her age as is she has the makings of a useful sprinter and my womens squad has a few holes in it.

Slightly disappointed than form isn't going up as fast as I thought. Two guys still on 12 that have been on low for the last 6-8wks.
|
Yeah its kinda weird, I have a guy on 11 who just refuses to budge. I looked at Gwent after last week and three quarters of their team were on 11 form, then on Sunday they were virtually all back on 12. So not sure whats going on there.

Had form going up fairly well so far, though where my care is low its been a lot slower. Only got the one or two stuck on 11 from last seasons exercsions.
Any of you guys got any youths likely to be ready for the youth championships come January?

| To reach the top 30 they are going to need to be 17 that season and have 2-3 seasons training behind them.
To give you an idea your 9m German shot putter would be no where near the top 50 last season and that was without people trying to get them into a championship. 10.45m would have just qualified you had it been last season.
Ironside hasn't got a clue, I would be very surprised if any GB athletes even qualified.

You take in that hes got high form though and just maybe if he continues at his rate of progress. As I said, is a slim chance but theres a slight possibility.
None of my athletes have competed on high or = much yet so I can only post stats based on their training. Reckon he could already push 10m on high and he has a season and a bit to improve.
Other only real chance is a female youngster whose already clearing 2m comfortably in training in the pole vault. Again depends on the training but with her being kept in my youths perhaps the chances are even better. Can see a fair few british athletes sneaking in between 20 and 30, but agree there'll be none anywhere near the top without some serious miracles. Are a few top 10 so far this year but then again its early days.

It's the junior champs though. My Race walker last season was the 23rd best junior at 10km in the world. Had a sprinter who was 33rd, but he'll be too old.
Point is, I don't think the Brits will win nessecarily, but should have the odd athlete here and there in the top 30. And it also depends on whether you can withdraw them? Might not want to have my guy running in an event where making the 20 would be a challenge - unless there is a significant cash reward.

| Big fan and experience boost for the athletes, would be worth it just for that surely.

Well only 3 sprinters running in the individual regionals.
My best male GB sprinter qualified for the nationals in the 200m
My best female GB sprinter won the 200m
Other male sprinter hasn't a hope and is using it for training.

Picking up the odd qualifier here and there, think i'm up to about 7 or 8 in so far. Few won their events well, others just exploiting weak events.

I screwed up and actually forgot to enter my male long jumper but he will qualify anyway for sure as a top three and I've noticed that the top long jumper this year - who is at Gwent - has suddenly become a long distance runner.
Sent 14 others to the individuals, no competition so they all went through by default and banked me a 7000 cash bonus.
