Coventry City has released 11 players as the club prepares for the 2002-03 season.
Paul Trollope, who arrived at Highfield Road in March after the Sky Blues took over his deal at Fulham, will not have his contract renewed, along with defender Marc Edworthy.
Marcus Hall and Republic of Ireland international Gary Breen, who both rejected offers made to them by Coventry City, will also not be here when the players report for pre-season training on July 1.
Reserve team players Shaun Hope, Mark Magennis, Thomas Cudworth and Craig Strachan have not been offered another contract with City, while Academy Under 18 players Danny Nelson, Jason Ashby and Matthew Cook have not been given the option of taking up the third year of their scholarship.
However Defender Richard Shaw has signed a one-year deal with Coventry City, which sees his commit to the club until 2003.
The 33-year-old was due to be out of contract this summer, only for the Sky Blues to offer him the opportunity to stay at Highfield Road for a further 12 months.
Said Chairman Mike McGinnity: I'm delighted Richard has agreed to stay with us.
We believe he is a true utility player and a valuable member of our squad.
*Second-year trainees striker Avun Jephcott and Australian centre-half Sean Cooney will be with the Sky Blues next season after being offered the option of a third year on their present scholarship.

Spong injured his cruciate about 3 months ago. Shame as he would have been in contention for a first team place in the upcoming season.
Apparently Cov will sign up Tim Flowers, Dion Dublin, Nigel Winterburn, David May and possibly Stephen Wright/Chris Kirkland on loans.
Other rumours are Patrik Berger, another Moroccan from Raja Casablanca and possibly Mark Hughes.
