Today's Tabloid Rumours

Coventry boss Gary McAllister is hoping to snap up left-back Dean Gordon after his shock free transfer from Middlesbrough

Steve Bruce is hot on the heels of Coventry's Lee Hughes. The boss of the Premiership newcomers is ready to offer cash-strapped Coventry around £2.5m. The news will anger West Brom fans, who are hoping their club will move for the former Hawthorns idol.

Tenerife, relegated from La Liga this season, are preparing a contract offer for Villa striker Dion Dublin, 33, in their bid to bounce straight back to the top flight. Dublin, who spent a spell on loan with Millwall at the end of the season, is available after boss Graham Taylor completed the deal for Swedish striker Marcus Allback on Saturday. (Surely he prefer to stay in Midlands with Cov)

LOL at Hughes in the premiership!

The way I see it is we want to get as much money as possible for Hughes, Hedman and possibly Safri so that we can keep Thommo. But I doubt it!
