I like the way scouting works in 07 (finding 700 players in a day aside)

I like the feeling that progression through the leagues is not a formality.

I love that 30 foot screamers are rare now.

I also love that, more than not being a formality, going through the leagues is darned near impossible, depending on the team you manage.

Just finished 8th of 14 in the lower echelons of the Danish Leagues and a couple of my players are "proud of the club's league position". Idiots.

Big pat on the back to the dev team at SI for finally creating a scouting engine that enhances our way of playing.

#1.-One thing I've really noticed now that I'm deep into my 2nd season post revised patch is that the scout numbers are not that illogical in the long run.

I'll ellaborate:

Scout 1 who's been on the books since day one has found 496 players in 430 days. My only gripe is that his first search uncovered around 350 of those.

Scouts 2 who's been in the team for 300 days has found 180 players. Again, despite high restrictions on his searchs (I need wingers and he's been scouring the market for them) he uncovered 150 of them in his first assignement.

#2.- The fact that über replacements are hard to come by when you're cash stripped.

My best performer is 35. I've tried to sign a player who is able to replace him in the long run.

No matter what (the two signed players should perform better than him) he keeps on saving my job week in week out...

I love the new scouting system. Has this been mentioned yet?

I love the fact I've not yet run into the "scout gone AWOL" bug.

I love the love/hate relationship to the game. For some reason I still keep coming back to it, no matter how much it annoys me at times.

I love all the statistics.

I love when the opposition gets 3 men sent of in the same match. Two games in a row

I love turning the match around in overtime (that happens often... )

I love that you can't longer climb through the leagues with your eyes shut. It's damn near impossible in this version. A *lot* more realistic :thup:

I love that I just went half a season with no physio and didn't realize it until my veteran SC retired, took up physio-iing and I decided to recruit him. :o

I'm well pleased with the scouting, other than the fact you cant set unlimited time missions.
