I started playing as AFC Wimbledon and was touted for a top half finish. I think I set my pro rata bonus too high because when I shocked the world by winning the BS South I had to award 600k in bonuses to my players. Now I'm 500k in debt. Did I really screw up or does anyone else feel this is an excessive bonus. Do you think I'll be okay heading into the BS Premier 500k down? (FM2008)
Sancho, exactly what point did your post make, other than for you to post boost? Are your karma points that important to you?
As for whether or not you screwed up, stating my opinion would really be a tip. But you could also take the stance that your job is to manage the side, not the finances.
I don't think you can avoid awarding bonuses for victory, so you could lower it, but if you have like a huge squad, it wouldn't help much. Financially that is.
I suspect he's doing that challenge. Which should be pretty damn easy with AFC Wimbledon...
They usually come up in the first season due to their finances and high reputation. Then they often go straight up again. Must be an easy ride. I'd rather take over a relegation candidate and struggle a bit instead of having it all laid out for me.
