Barside - Atmosphere at fortress Portman Road has usually been one of the best in the division. Often managers referred to the great support before games 'The fans are always very vocal' etc etc.
However the last 3 seasons with being a mid table side this has been lost. Mr Potato Head (ex Everton and Man City) boss got us in the play offs a few times and the place was buzzing.
Since then it's been pretty poor. I sit in the North where it is always noisy but rest of the ground may as well be asleep.
I agree. Ex-Colchester striker for League 1. If I'd player named like that even accidentally as it obviously was I'd have been strung up! :-(
Good luck for the remainder and well done for slapping QPR last night. Don't like them.

Cheer up you could be a QPR fan, I didn't believe there was a defence worse than ours until I saw last nights game.
There were schoolboys that would have done better for both teams at the back.

| And at the moment, the defence of my beloved Southampton is even worse than QPR's. Conceding 4 against Preston Rear End, who were struggling for goals before our motley crew went up there.
Mind you, at least we can score a few.
