I'd be delighted, don't really gaf if it's Bristol City people or not tbh; whoever it is will have an interest in getting the club as high up as possible from a business perspective if nothing else. £40m to take us up to the prem, yes please!
I'd agree with that. I have a lot of time for Steve Lansdown, but if we want to keep progressing a little added investment will be necessary. In the event of a takeover I'd hope he'll stick around in some capacity though.

Turns out the speculation was just some bloke who Lansdown had never heard of saying City are a club worthy of investment having his comments blown out of all proportion. Seems a bit of a step back from the comments about wanting to have a chat with the Bristol City chairman, wanting to see some figures, etc. but there you go. Don't know if we'll hear from these guys again but that seems to be the end of it for the time being at least.

BWCH will have been pleased to hear that we're trialing Icelandic u21 striker Kjartan Finnbogason. Article seems to suggest he'd be happy to sign, with a compensatory fee going to Celtic, if he's good enough.

Being a Celtic fan as well as a City fan I'd be delighted if he went on to make as lasting an impression as the last player to make the same move \o/

Johnsons says he have nearly concluded deals for 2 or 3 players and should be with us (hopefully) by the time the players board the plane for Latvia. 2 players being heavily linked are Lee Trundle someone I know told me we have made a 300k bid for him and some guy I have never heard of Andrzej Niedzielan plays in Holland not sure which position, any info on him would be great
