Loving that work Barnzy. Read some good things about Sproule whilst having a casual browse of some Hibs forums a few days ago so I'm quite pleased with him, hopefully he gets played on the right as competition for Murray (not entirely convinced by Betsy yet) and we sign someone with a left foot for the left. Like the videos on YouTube, ranging from 4 goals v Rangers, him getting into scraps and some of him dancing!
Will be interesting to see the likes of Plummer and Artus in the first team if they get a chance; all I've seen of Plummer is the YouTube vids tbh; am stoutly refusing to get giddy about his talent til he shows it against C'ship defences. Hopefully we can get into a safe midtable slot which'll allow us to give them games, not sure GJ would trust the youngsters in a relegation scrap.

Dunno what to think of this takeover talk, seems to good to be true. Already read on the BristoL City forums that alot of people dont want non-Bristol City people to invest, I would welcome any investment to be honest

I'd be delighted, don't really gaf if it's Bristol City people or not tbh; whoever it is will have an interest in getting the club as high up as possible from a business perspective if nothing else. £40m to take us up to the prem, yes please!

Well million pound offers from Reading have been bouncing around the local papers for a while now, just rumours though really. Personally I'd like to think we wouldn't let him go for such pittance; I know he hasn't been a first-teamer every week but in the games he did play last season I thought he was pretty solid and effective, and there's potential for him to improve further and be an important player for us this season. If we let him go we'd be left with Nobes, LJ and Russell, plus an (unproven Artus).
Having said that, we do seem compelled to make a profit from our academy products as soon as the opportunity arises, especially to you lot :/ I'd at least hope we'd keep him for this season at least, and if he proves himself a good Championship player with the potential to step up to the prem and big offers come in then sure, cash in.
