This is getting dangerously close to tipping, but...

There may well be such an attribute, but I was of the impression that adaptability had to do with how well they adapted to living in a different country.

Don't know what makes a player fit into a new position, but I suspect age has something to do with it. It's probably easier to get, say, a DR to adapt to MR than ST, or a DC to DL than ST too.

Have tried to get players to new positions, but it's usually not a success. Players say they are not happy about it, and then I just drop it.

Well, my D/WB R took 8 months to go from Competent M R to accomplished. I guess thats well within the frame of realism, as it's not that drastic as a step as a centre half learning to play on the wing.

Ass Man looks after training. I can't be bothered tinkering with that which isn't a suprise because it took me 8 years before I started using subs unless a player was injured.

So I don't have to close this thread, can we get away from specific training we are using in the game and how well it is doing etc.

Adaptability as a hidden attribute is exactly that.
So it affects a players willingness/ability to train for another position and also whether or not he can settle in new surroundings.

As you can't see it, you'll never know what effect it's having on an individual.

There are other factors which affect those things too, so now you're all as clueless as when you started

Positional based training.

Of course I'm not going to tell you what I set for which position, but common sense dictates you're not going to have a striker do training on tackling. It's about tweaking until you find schedules to suit your needs and keep you and your team happy with their development.

I'd like to think my training schedules play a part in my team's rise up the leagues, but facilities also play a part on the training side of things too.

I can't say any more without tipping.
