Hi all Im pretty new to lower league management, i say pretty new...but i ve been playing football manager/championship manager for years but never really had the patience, or intelligence to stick with it.

i have recently started a new LLM game on FM 2008 as Northwich Victoria (started unemployed) thought this was realistic until i read all the rules on the forum, which has really made me want to go home and play.

anyway to the point... i have started as Northwich Victoria and being extremely poor i decided to try and get a parent club and with a bit of luck get someone a couple of leagues above...instead i got liverpool and some over random close to where northwich is situated. i chose liverpool and they sent me a few players....one being a young defender who on previous games i have bought when i ve been a manager in the championship. i havent played a game yet but thought sticking in the boundaries of the forum thought id ask as i didnt see this touched on in the rules.

opinions would be much appreciated...on the length of this boring post....or on accpeting players from a premiership club to a conference team..

UK teams can't be parents to other UK teams as the Home Nation FA's deem all teams must be independant, but UK teams can be "parent" to teams outwith the UK.
