Since using scouts is new to me, i've a quick question to stop me wasting my time
Scouts have come back with some players and i've managed to get 4 on loan.
Anyway if i send them back out again will they just come back with the same players again or do they bring back the same player but with some new ones?
My experience of this is that they'll bring back mostly the same reports, with the occasional new player.
As we're only able to scout England at the moment, I have my scouts going out once every 2-3 months or so. Just in case they find any new talent. After all I'm paying them, so might as well use 'em!
My scouts are always on the road. When they report back (they mention the top players they find) I send them straight back on the road.
My experience is that they come up with a lot of names over a few scouting sessions. Most are crap, but you should be able to find the odd player that improves your squad, perhaps considerably.
aye, most of the decent ones dont want to come, but got four young players on loan and 1 is a cracking keeper who has made a difference as i even won a game with him in goal
As my experience in Maidenhead showed, you can't always find good enough players to survive. Ended rock-bottom with 20-odd points
That's part of the experience though. The goal isn't to be successful (though that would be nice), but to play it realistically. If you don't have the players to survive and your scouts can't find good replacements - you go down. Then hopefully some other lousy team will not find any other managers.

Rinse. Repeat. That's how we do here in LLM.
