Broken ankle. Done that too, was told it was sprained and sent home. a week later with a leg and foot still twice the size it should be I thought maybe I should nip back to the hospital and get it checked again.

First thing they said when I arrived, "oh, yes, we've been trying to contact you. We had another look at the x-rays and noticed a fracture, but we lost your file"

Turned up with a sprain and went home with my leg in plaster.

Pangea - Great story, got me laughing out loud at work!

Similar story about the 'keyboard'. I play other games as well, for the past two years I was pretty heavy into Massive Multi-player Online (MMO) games. One in particular is World of Warcraft. Since I use a lot of 'hot keys' and macros I was running out of keys on my standard keyboard. So I went out and bought a G15 Keyboard. They're pretty expensive but in my mind, worth the money. Anyways, a few days ago I was at the end of my first season when my DL thought it would be funny to turn into a pylon and let their AML run right by. I swear I thought I saw my defender wave to him as he ran past and put in the game-winner in injury-time. I was so angry all I could do was grab hold of the nearest object and pretend it was that jerk-off DL and shake it senseless!! Luckily I caught myself before I did any real damage to my keyboard. Quickly there after I went and grabbed my old keyboard and replaced the G15!

Everyone - Thanks for the welcome. I'm deep in my second season and it's been.... interesting to say the least. I should have my report in a day or so.

With all the stories being told in here the thread title is very appropriate!

Now, I've never injured myself playing FM. I'm usually careful about pain, but I break things. I broke my TV remote by throwing it at a wall... It was right there when the opposition scored. From then on I pretty much learnt to throw things that don't matter... If you were to enter my room you'd see a lot of broken pens and pencils.

However, since then there was one "incident". Brand new laptop, with the touch screen tablet PC type loadout that you can do. I loaded up FM. There was one session which was bugging me so much that I slammed my laptop down on the floor. I quickly realised I was an idiot for doing it. Opening it back up I had a MASSIVE crack down the centre of my screen, and now it's touch-screen no more.

Ouch! That's not good

I have learnt too, thankfully. Try not to get physical with metal anymore. Instead when my team play like **** I have a boxing session with the bed or something

Have broken quite a few of those planks holding up the mattress. But no hands
