2015/6 - Billericay Town (Conference)
All within the club predict a relegation battle, as do the media, but strangely the bookies give us 33-1 promotion odds and an 'outside chance'.
Well... we were top after one game.
The struggle ensued, but a seven match unbeaten run during the usual Aquaplane winter months put enough points on the board to look safe...
But we needed to win our last game to make sure we stayed in the Conference...
COMETH THE HOUR, COMETH THE MAN
At 2-0 down with 20 minutes to play against Gravesend it looked bleak and we'd need to rely on other teams losing to stay up. Then our veteran striker knocked in a 15 minute hat-trick. \o/
He finished as the second highest scorer with 28 (12 behind the top scorer!) as we scored 70 and conceded 98.
