My first real venture into the lower leagues in any of the FM games.

Took charge of Forfar Athletic (The Loons) in the Scottish 3rd Division. No transfer money and limited wages.

A very poor start in season 1 however a charge from February saw me get 4th and into the playoffs. Eventually beat our arch enemies Montrose over 2 legs only to get hammered by Brechin in the final.

A very active pre season saw me attract some exciting (to me they were) prospects to Station Park. Most of them youth cast aways from teams up the league or lower English league teams.

Season 2 was almost a replica of season one although we had a longer run in the Scottish League Cup. A lucrative 3rd round away match at Hearts saw my laddies get an absolute mauling, 9-0!! That seemed to knock the stuffing out of the squad for a month or two. Not quite as storming a run as season 1 but we once again clinched 4th. Wins over East Stirlingshire and Arbroath now see me going into Division 2.

Due to some (now known) bug in the game though the board seem to think I've finished 10th and 9th in the last 2 seasons so I'm actually quite lucky to have received a new contract although it has come with a warning things must improve? Its a shame the board don't really know whats happened as its been a great success story given I've spent absolute zilch on transfers and I've got a very young squad however, I will go on and look forward to my 3rd season with the Loons with Division 2 to look forward to.
