rootes is probably the best. 'new' rootes is meant to be better than 'old' rootes, but you can't choose between the two. whitefields is more party-inclined but you have no privacy because they pack about ten people into a tiny little apartment. jack martin is full of precious tossers who can't handle the idea of communal bathrooms.

saying its unfair not to get good grades when you only revise on the journey to the exam is like saying you're actually a world-class footballer, except that you don't do any training or try out for any teams. in fact, I remember a kid at school who insisted that he could be a formula 1 driver if he gave it a go, and the only reason he wasn't was that he 'couldn't be bothered'. It's like that.

Up until last week, I was definitely applying for Cambridge but now I'm not so sure after having visited Oxford last Friday. Went back up to Cambridge on Monday and am visiting Oxford again tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to make my choice soon. The decision really comes down to whether I want to take History and Politics and whether I can be bothered with the history aptitude test. Aside from Oxbridge, I"m thinking of places like Edinburgh, Durham, York, Warwick, Nottingham, Bristol etc - haven't done enough research on these yet though.
Oxford all the way my son.

I think I'm looking at AAB in the three AS subjects I'm keeping for A2. Was aiming for AAA but struggled in the 2 economics exams I did last month. Luckily I got a really high B in my first module in January so it should average out at a B.
However I messed up my Computing AS which I was hoping to finish with a B in, now I'll probably get a C if I'm very lucky.
I'll also already have a full A Level in Critical Thinking, which isn't held in the same regard as other subjects but should count for something.
Looking to study Law in London. Hoped for UCL/LSE but they all want 3 As. I know KCL wants AAB and so does Westminster which is emant to be good for law. Looked around a bit outside London at places like Warwick and York aswell.
