I've been to Loughborough today as well, and thought it was really good. Was really impressed with the facilities etc. and I generally like the feel of the place. Problem is it isn't in the top 20 for my course so I'm a little dubious as to whether I should apply or not.
Can't beleive that if the university entered last years Commonwealth Games as it's own entity, using the students as the competitors, they would have finished 8th in the medals table

yeah, jonno you mentalist. there's like 15 people on these forums who are applying to uni. just think how many of them are taking your subject and haven't done a personal statement and think your personal statement is ace and are okay with stealing it. ridiculously irresponsible.
here, go to this site that anyone interested in applying to university will look at. that's smart.

Tbh, it was a stupid thing to do but it was 1am etc, but then again there isn't an excuse for it. I also thought people on here would be reasonable enough not to steal it and to give me comments on it but I guess that was a stupid presumption.

Put your erection away son, there are hundreds of lurkers on this site and it only takes one to ruin the chance for him to go to his first choice uni. That site I linked to has a privatised forum so that posts in that forum can only be seen by people who have been specially selected. They also hand out great advice. And my post was just to give advice and it was left up to him to decide whether to accept the advice or not. Needless hissy fits aren't cool.
