| If you click on the course code (L600, V100 etc), it'll show you the conditions of your offer. And I know that as Manchester just gave me a nice offer of ABB for Social Anthropology Also applying for UCL, SOAS, Durham and Edinburgh.

All I've got so far (school eventually sent my application last Monday) are acknowledgement e-mails from Manchester and Warwick. I'm bored of waiting already |

Also, the world university rankings came out sometime recently, with Oxford and Cambridge in joint second. Top 10 as follows:
1 Harvard University (US)
2 University of Cambridge (UK)
2 University of Oxford (UK)
2 Yale University (US)
5 Imperial College London (UK)
6 Princeton University (US)
7 California Institute of Technology (US)
7 University of Chicago (US)
9 University College London (UK)
10 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US)
Can get the full top 200 here: http://www.thes.co.uk/ | Not quite sure I believe that top 10 tbf.

Cambridge have now emailed me with an interview date. Nearly everyone gets an interview so it's not such a major achievement but it's still another step towards the ultimate goal. 4th December doesn't seem too far away, this processs is nearly over \o/

Just got in and I've got a letter from Manchester Uni asking me to attend an interview on November 27. Only 12 days so pretty nervous already, but I'm happy on the other hand because it says they're interviewing all of those who they are considering making an offer to (implying they've outright rejected some already), but their website has my course at AAA, and school sent my predicted grades off as ABB, so I'm quite chuffed about that.

If they give you an offer it will be AAA (if indeed that is the course requirements), they may stretch it to AAB. BTW what course is it? Wasn't aware Manchester had any AAA courses.

Computer Science, pretty sure it says usual grades are AAA. Not necessarily either, because the grades they put on websites and in prospectus' are just guidelines, can offer what they want if they like you enough. One of my friends applied for English at Newcastle (which has AAB/ABB in the prospectus) and she got an unconditional.
