Dunno what its like for undergraduate studies. I stayed in the UK to do that, but for what i'm trying to get next, going abroad is a must, as a globally recognised MBA is only worht doing. Its not worth doing an unknown one, as the companies only recruit from specific schools.
Likewise some countries will focus on certain Business schools in their country.
In the UK there are only a few business schools which seem worthwhile due to its brand recognition these are :-
London Business School - the clear number 1 - average salary of $135,522 post-mba - MBA costs £45k
Cambridge: Judge - $127,418 MBA costs £30k
Oxford: Said - 127,966 MBA costs £28k
Manchester Business School - 106,913 MBA costs £31k
The Top US schools are even more intense, but they are usually 2 year course, but 1 person in Wharton finished his MBA and landed a job worth $320k ... this does not include signing on bonuses and Course reimbursement costs, which some employers will also offer.
