I have never been to liquid in my life, and never intend to, just seems the opposite of where i'd want to go.

Hustle is open until 2, unfortunately they don't play retro music on monday, but still, £8 all you can drink.

I had enough of the carlton during 6th form really, went there basically every week, as we'd never get into anywhere in Lancaster.

Total hole of a place, although it is far better on a wednesday than the tuesday 'over 16s' night I used to go to, and they do play better than average music.

I would go there more often, but most of my non-uni mates are banned for really stupid reasons (like taking a balloon, for example).

My general tip for the carlton is, unfortunately not possible at the moment. But in a few months time, if you are going, get a ticket for it, then get a few of you to get a taxi/bus to Morecambe, and go to the Kings Arms, on Morecambe prom (when it has finished being refurbished, hense why you can't go atm), and take advantage of the £1 pints from 7pm. Drink for a few hours, then move the carelton, so you drink less there, as it isn't cheap.

As I said, you can't do it at the moment, but once the Kings Arms (not to be mistaken for the one in Lancaster) is done up, you can save so much on a night out.

Unless the carlton has halved its prices since I last went, it isn't cheap, ffs

I'd never even thought of applying abroad. Sounds pretty fun, how does the whole application thing work for those unis abroad? and I got myself and unconditional from Bath :cool: quicker than I expected

I considering going state side but couldn't arsed sorting it all in the end. Plus, there is no way I can afford it..foreign students get no financial backing from their system, from what I read.
