I went back to Billericay in my 01/02 epic with them.
I've also have three excellent career saves primarily managing them in three different versions of CM/FM.

| Oh dear kevhamster, you must be upset. As a Pompey season ticket holder for 15 years I can't really share your misfortune (although I did have a good chuckle at you lot on Saturday!).
To be fair, I was extremely p***ed when he left for you and I didn't welcome him back with open arms but he seems to brake the mould by coming back to the club and actually doing better.
Not sure I will though!

But to be honest, if it wasn't for him where would you be now? Alright, he joined your rivals and made a mistake, but if he didn't take over then you wouldn't be a recognised premiership team like you are now.
That said, I am a bit biased when it comes to him because he did a great job with West Ham and if our current manager decides to leave (I hope not) then I would welcome him back with open arms.

Current Pompey wheeler dealer manager is a legend. I'd like to think that most Portsmouth fans would be pleased that he came back, although he was helped somewhat with having more money at his disposal as well.

I tried going back to Pontevedra, kept applying, but they wouldn't take me -even after I had achieved fame and glory and was respected by about 1 fan.  | |

i kept going back to nuneaton after success in my first 3 years. never replicated it in the odd season here and there when i went back but they loved me. despite me walking out all the time!!
