So, what exactly is a Sunday League Footballer in clog-poof terms?
Does it mean you play at a competitive level (first/second team) in the higher divisions of amateur football (in The Netherlands maybe something like Hoofdklasse to Derde of Vierde klasse?)
I hope some all-knowing clog-poof could elaborate on this for me?

Well, I couldn't have figured that out myself.
Seriously though, over here you get to play matches on Saturday and Sunday which are on the same competitive level. So we should have different settings I guess.
I'm more concerned about the competitite level to make sure I am not one of them Sunday League Footballers instead of an Automatic type of player.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, Sunday league is pretty much pub sides and wholly amateur. As for those who are worried about the fact they didn't set it when they started their saves, they shouldn't be - it defaults to Automatic (ie naff all)

Chasing a ball? Xurely you mean hacking at each others legs. The ball being kicked is usually accidental.
I've always chosen Sunday League reputation in my FM07 saves and did likewise for my FM08 game.
