after some research, you're right about asterix. I always thought Uderzo was belgian but it seems he just lived here and started the comic books here.
my bad, credit goes to the french
oh and about poirot: the question was "things that you associate with belgium" and apparently hercule poirot is known well in England
thx for explaining hansen as well, although i don't see why some people replied this...
