| That is some crazy management! 146 new players in one season? That's approximately a brand new under 18 squad, reserve squad and a first team squad of 50 players each. Wow.

I have a feeling the AI didn't want to manage it either, so it closed its eyes and carried on regardless |

I have a horrible tendency to overbuy - in my 07 Newport County ('Mon the Exiles!) save I was regularly buying 20 players in the offseason. I also have major issues keeping my individual squad sizes down, and regularly ended up with 27 players jostling for 16 spots, all so evenly matched that i couldn't bring myself to choose people to dump in the reserves |

I tend to overbuy a bit too. As posted in the goat thread though, this can sometimes still be too little...
Always looking for players a bit better than those I have. Then I end up buying a load of players of equal quality with the inevitable result that most of them are unhappy.
If only teams were interested in decent players for free... |

mkus, my non league team in the real world, sacked there manager at the end of last season and no players were on contracts so they all left.
Our new manager started with a complete clean slate, and signed 27 players before the start of the season. (Only one of them had played for us before).
Alot of times in Non League football, when a manager resigns or gets sacked, when he gets another job, alot of the players follow him, so a large turnover of players is no uncommon.
