Season 4 - 2010/11 Blue Square South
A far more settled pre-season for Billericay, three out and four in (including two from Thurrock!). Board wanted a mid-table finish and I duly accepted.
Season was characterised by total inconsistancy, we effectively were the mid-table team that the board wanted. Between Nov and May we never went above 11th or below 14th.
However in one game I played a 16 year old MC alongside my 45 year old midfield general. Quite chuffed about that.
Media Prediction: 15th
Final Positon: 12th

Season 5 - 2011/12 Blue Square South
Five in, five out. Billericay board wanted mid-table but I fancied the play-offs. Quite how they decided that an extra £200 to the wage budget would make any difference is beyond me. As were the play-offs, finishing 7th but only a point off fifth. And I managed to inflict the only home defeat on run-away leaders Oxford.
Good season.

Season 6 - 2012/11 Blue Square South
Currently enjoying my third season with Billericay and, yet again, they wanted a safe mid-table position. I went for broke and plumped for title challengers. Added four players and released seven, evening out the school of carp to 20. 'Grandad' midfielder finally retired (at 44) and kept him as a coach.
Lost first three then big winning run... then lost to title rivals Dorchester. 5-0. At home.
Board unhappy despite reaching FA Cup 1st round and sacked in April.
Applied for three jobs - St Albans, Welling and ... Thurrock. Will keep you posted.

Final Positon: 14th
