I just realized you are playing with a team I wanted to give it a try... It is probably one of the poorest teams out there, starting at some 20K value (in euros, not pounds). Lets see what the German's have...

Board expectation: Avoid relegation
Players in: 9 permanently, 3 season loans, 1 short loan (total cost: nothing)
Players out: 26 (total net: ₤35K)
In short it was a fair bit better than my last atempt. Never threatened by relegation and never threatened a playoff spot, I wasn't badly outplayed by any side and more than held my own against the big boys of the division (did the double over Rushden, Stevenage and Grays). The team started to take a multi-cultural look, as I added a Ghanian and an Aussie preseason (the latter was slightly deluded, waiting for an England call before he'd commit to his country of birth), and a Croatian and a Cameroonian in January. Financial state of the club is excellent, although basic training facilities, tiny ground and no youth academy would explain this to a degree.
The lads also won their first piece of cup silverware, disposing of Stevenage (again) 2-1 in front of 15,000 at Wembley in the Setanta Shield final.

| Uni finished for the year, a new computer and working evenings means I'm flying through seasons. Going away with the missus for a week tomorrow though so the next update will be 10 days away at least.
