I am currently managing an amateur team in the Norwegian 2nd Division Group 1.
As a rule, I am not very good at this game. Thus, I usually tend not to last one season through stress related reasons.
My aim for my first game with FM08 is to make it through at least one entire season.
This is already proving a more difficult challenge then expected.
After a win and a loss in my first two matches, the third had started well.
On the 20ish minutes, the pitch menu displayed my defenders conducting some sharp passes along the back line.
"We are starting to look like a team now" I thought or something along them lines.
My left back, now advancing to the half way line, decided that he didn't like the look of the other side of the pitch too much and lumped it back to my keeper.
The keeper, who was most likely distracted by one of the sixteen fans who had turned up for the game, ignored the ball as it rolled past him and into the net!
Brilliant! We lost the game 4.0.
I will let you know if we make it through a season.
Any tips on getting through the hard times as a LLM?
Sorry, bud but we don't do tips (amongst other things) in here. Have a check of the headers at the top to see what goes and what doesn't. Also have a read of a few update threads to see how we report on our games.
