I hope this is not considered tipping, if so I apologise in advance.

I thought about a thread for recommending teams that we have had a good career with or who look like a fun game. This would save people who can't read the forum header from asking. I know purists will point to Frank but for some of us the random choice is not always an appealing option, perhaps suggesting teams along with tit-bits of trivia etc that make them more interesting would fill a hole.

Reasons for Managing
Trivia

Obviously the first suggestion would be River Plate if the mods think this thread has a future...if not hey just close it down.

I admit I'm fairly new to LLM so others will disagree but I like to have good reason for picking a club...it helps me to enjoy the game more and get deeper into it. I don't always get that from a randomised choice.

Different people choose different clubs for different reasons.

Some ask Frank from the top-level and take whatever he comes up with, no matter team or country. Others (such as myself) let Frank pick a team in a said country, perhaps even with a said colour.

If we then play with a team for a fair amount of seasons we usually look up some pics and info about them. Every team is special in their own way. And the great thing about LLM is that you can turn them into whatever you want. Unless you get relegated and canned ofc
