OK. This is my third try. After successfully relegate Havast & Yeading and another team in BSN (sorry I forgot), H & W would be my next victim... or not
1st season
Odds: 6-4 (first favorite)
Expectation: Promotional Chase
Even chairman must realize that when you give transfer fund of absolutely nothing, things might not get easy
Well, this is when experience helps. Getting only 3 win in the first 19 games make us the penerial 22nd for the last 10 games. Fans are calling for my head all over (at least 99 of our loyal season ticket holders). Out of desparation, I signed a striker who scores most goals (that has no value), and also defender with highest average rating (also no value), and of course a major tactic revamp. Suddenly it's as if I strike gold, we play much better. We still lose many match but we start to win against team that we could win. Finishing 17th and manage to barely save my own behind. But our finance is in a big hole, losing like a drunk on poker table. I would not think of my job past next Christmas
Cup: Err.. I have never seen a team try so hard to lose a game. Fail in every first round of every cup we get in.
Player of the season: Determined Striker who I signed because of desparation.
2nd season
Odds: 40-1
Expectation: Mid table safety
I land and ex-Sheff Utd defender and some goalie, plus holding midfield from St. Alban. The season starts so-so but suddenly during November to December we are on 16-matches unbeaten run with ex-Sheff U playing like he's World cup winning captain. Of course such player would not last long, and with Cambridge offer the staggering sum of 30K, we could not say no. Then our goalie was also bought for 10K. We could not challenge Crawley for 1st place (not when their strikers hit 51, 42, and 30+ respectively), but we still keep ourselves in 2nd place. On the final match of regular season, we met Weston-Super-Mare (whom I befriend their manager) and I decide to fill whole reserve squad to conserve our first team for playoff. The result is 9-1 trashing, making us 3rd place. On the plus note, it also makes our rival club Eastleigh go down. heh heh.
But then instant karma is getting us, after cruise through semi-final with ease, we met AFC Wimbledon, whom we trash during regular season (4-0 at home, 1-1 away). We have an early lead and looks as if we will be at BSP but then Wimbledon struck an equalizer in 92 minutes  and manage to score "a freak goal" in 105 minutes. So this season was a good experience but it all went up in smoke. We manage to lose another 80K and our finance looks precarious.
CUP: What cup? Got beaten by Grey man of doom in every participating cup
Player of the Year: The same determined striker, he never really have high strike ratio, but his determination won fans over I guess.
