The *Official* Computer Thread, suggestions/questions welcome.
As we have so many computer threads, I thought it would be good to have a "one for all" approach, like we do with the networking/wireless thread (yes, that in itself does deserve it's own thread).
This can be for any questions/suggestions/"is this PC alright" type comments.
People like Los R/Kris/LFCFan and others with PC knowledge are very welcome to answer queries too.
I know a little bit about PCs, but would like to know what are the benefits/repurcussions of increasing the page file size to the same size as your memory?
Please, don't spoil this thread, let's try to make a go of it, and if a mod could sticky it, it would be appreciated.

Good idea, Airwolf. What would also be good (although I don't know if it can be done) is post a page of links to relevant posts...?
Anyway - Microsoft Groove. Has anyone/Is anyone using it? I am trying to run it between my machine at home and my tecchies machine here at work. How the hell can I get her to access the documents and messages on my workspace? I sent her an invite and she comes up on my list of participants, but she does not have access to it. There is next to no online literature on this, so I am relying on experience from others here!

I'll post this on here for you lot to see, just in case you did wonder...I've been advised that if you set the page file too small, it increases the amount of disk activity needed. And a good site about it is here.
