If you're getting a new pc then imo you should definitely get it
| TBF if you are using a new PC then they have been built with Vista in mind and should be pretty much fine and I think it is a nice OS.
Installed it on one PC and it wouldnt even find the CD drive Had to install XP and install it from there, cant be arsed with it after that |

Ladies and gents, got a bit of a problem with my version of Internet Explorer. When I go to sites that use Flash, it says to go and download the latest version. So, I do that, but then when I go back to it (even after a reboot) it comes up with the message again. Going round in circles, basically.
When it has finished downloading it says that it is installed, but it can't be if it keeps asking me to download it.

I've got a question about scheduled defragmentation. My computer has it scheduled to run weekly at wednesday 1am, and I would like to know whether it can still go ahead with this when my computer is turned off, or should I schedule it for a time when Its definately on?

| Re-schedule it for when the PC is on, or better still, do it manually. I'll set mine running when I have to go out for an hour or 2 so it can get on with it.

| Will,
You could try downloading HDD Health which will "predict" how long your hard drive has left.
