I need to transfer my music from my old pc (about 22GB) which is also on my ipod.
Bought an easy data transfer cable but this doesn't work with 64. Tried software to transfer music from my ipod but thats incompatible with vista 64 and itunes isn't running well on this sh1tty OS either.
No DVD drive on my old pc so can't burn dvds
Any ideas? What are my options here?

You could try this to get the music off your Ipod link
Alternatively you could network the PC's together or put the HDD of the old PC in the new one?

I'll have alook at the link. Selling my old computer to my brother otherwise would keep the HDD. Not tech savvy so no idea what to do with networking them..
Could i copy the files on to an external HDD and then transfer them off it?

Quick question.. I've never had a PC that was modern enough to "upgrade" (required a new pc every time I had the cash to do so).. I'm thinking of upgrading from my 4200+ AMD to a 6000+ AMD (same socket), would I just be able to swap out the CPU and restart and it would go normally?
Would I have to format?
If I had to format I'd probably not do it, as I just formatted a month or so ago and don't want to go through it again.
