PES and especially GTA will require a fairly hefty graphics card to look good (fps are not unique in this regard) - difficult to get in a PC for £500-ish. Been many a discussion here on this recently but you won't get much bang for your buck on the current 8-series cards (which come in pretty much all new PCs nowadays) unless you spend a fair whack.

Anyone got any ideas why someone may not be able to access a website on their computer(s) and I can? We both have the same Firewall, and it is only one site that is affected - barclays Stockbrokers.

Could be the ISP. In a DOS prompt, type tracert <website>
See how many hops it is before it fails.

| Also thinking about getting a new PC, which graphics cards will be good enough for PES for a few years at least, don't want to have to upgrade but then I don't want to spend too much on a graphics card either. Only really play FM and PES.
Have looked at plenty of PCs on the dell site, but there's so many to choose from, and thats without having a serious look on other sites.
Use a router for the internet (laptop with network card as well) and firewire for video camera, can't think of much else I would really need.
Wouldn't need a monitor and speakers either, assuming what I've got should have no problems (neither are very old).
Can anyone help? Don't want to be paying over £1000 on more expensive processors etc to get a slight boost.

| Something I forgot to mention - the problem is intermittent. Sometimes he can go onto the website, other times he can't. Yet its ok for me at all times?

Get him to use an alternative proxy server. You should be able to google a list of proxies for his ISP. Could be an intermittent problem with that server.

| Would that cause problems with wireless network or not, if I changed that?

I have Nero 7 essentials and for my friends mum I am trying to make a picture cd. She has like 200 pictured from her digital camera and I want to put them on a cd so that she can view them through her dvd player.
When I try to make a video cd on nero it says something along the lines of -
The maximum number of entries in the audio compilation is 99
But I dont want audio on it - how do i change this to make as many pictures as the cd hold??
Thanks a lot

Are either of these good value? Second has a better graphics card and bigger hard drive but PES is probably the only game apart from FM that I would play. Not really sure how well it'll run with the graphics card in the Dell PC however, anyone know? Other graphics cards Dell offers on this PC are worse. The graphics card in the Mesh is the second best, the top one being an extra £330, a 768MB nVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX.
