Yea, I have deleted stuff that I don't need and don't let it clutter up.
I'll try disc cleanup, see if that works/.

If I can't access an external HDD, and I've had it less than 12 months (it just freezes when I try to get into it), how can I delete the data on it if I take it back under warranty?

If it's truly used for only college stuff (and your college stuff does not include complex equations or software, like in engineering or something like that), then you might as well find a cheap 3 year old laptop and you should be fine.
No sense spending tonnes of money on something you will not use.
If after some time the cheap is not enough, then spend money.
I don't think the graphics cards are any different, I belive they are both ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, which use onboard ram.
They will useless at gaming, so in this case, you might as well look for an old laptop instead of wasting money on a laptop which will probably be 99% the same speed/ability as a 3/4 year old doing the stuff which it can (browsing, listening to music maybe) college stuff like making a report document.

Got a new 500gb HDD on friday. Waiting for 2 new 80mm Antec Case fans to come around tuesday/wed before installing it, as the fans are replacing the front fans on my current system (tx1050b case) which have started to fail and make noise/vibration.
I will join an elite club of people who can smugly say "I have over a terabyte of storage" :******)

| Yeah, I know that they sometimes can't be trusted. Do they have an privacy agreement? Or try it again in another computer?
