My Asus laptop, which I recently upgraded to Vista, has a mental problem whereby the number lock keeps coming on intermittently. I can be working away, then all of a sudden I am writing in numbers. It will turn itself off and on at a whim.
I contacted Asus technical support, who said 'I have to turn it off in the BIOS'.
Great help. That was all they said. So how the hell do I turn the number lock off in the bios? Please? I need help.

If you press F2 whilst booting up, or F8 or F12, depending on your system (it will usually tell you whilst booting up and you have to catch it quick) you'll enter it. In the Bios, you genrally have the option to have Number lock on or off at boot up, unsure if there's anything about it being intermittent though

The reason i ask is my old laptop's screen is rather fecked (punching it obviously didnt help), and only about a 1/4 of the screen functions properly.
Also, i presume my iTunes library will not be easily transferred. If this is the case, whats the best way to do this?
Crossover network cable
