Also if my family were using them 3 applications regularly would I be likely to overgo my 40gb usage limit?
| If only that was true, we'd all be doing it, it'll just be your 6mb shared between what ever is connected to the internet.

What about the second point then. I assume that means using one computer at 6mb uses the same gb per month as 3 devices at 2mb then? or am I wrong...?

| It all depends, if your downloading a large fast file on one computer, the others connected to that network would feel the brunt and slow down to a crawl, I don't think there is a way to cap how much one connection draws, although it would be a good idea to find out if there is a way, especially if you want to download on one pc and connect to a server in say America on the ps3.

If you've got a 6mb connection you really shouldn't have any problems, it's a good connection, when I was on 2mb I still got a ping of around 140 to 170 connecting to servers in Atlanta, so if you just searched the net and used your ps3 you wont have any problems.

I've only two worries though. My brother plays world of warcraft, he's addicted to it to be honest, so I can see that taking up alot of bandwidth when I'm on ps3. Other problem is that if In the first few months at least when i'll be using ps3 alot along with brother, that my internet download limit cap will be exceeded leading to speed caps and fines.

My parents are moving soon, so heres hoping to keep them away from TalkTalk again. They really are abysmal, but parents can't afford a decent company.
