Just had to order a new case fan. The rear 120mm is failing, making huge noise. $35 for the fan and about $6 in post and CC surchage. Antec Red LED fan ffffffffb.

My PC is in my bedroom which is an attic room and its hot in here. Room temp is currently 29C.

Yesterday I had a new heatsink fitted to my PC (wasnt confident of doing it myself) and the pc temp has lowered a little but its still hot becuase the room is hot.

This has got thinking about the fans in my pc and whether i need more.

Currently there is;

1 - an 80mm fan drawing air in on the side panel directly onto the heatsink.

2 - The heatsink fan.

3 - The PSU fan

4 - a 120mm fan drawing air out.

I think i should put a couple of small fans to draw air in at the front of the case, is that a good idea?

Also, should the side panel fan be taking air in or out? I'm not sure if it is better to push air onto the heatsink fan or draw it away.
