so yeah, my PC has gone kaput and u have no idea how difficult it is trying to find someone around me to fix it

so has anyone had any dealing with PC and PC repairs? Are they expensive and how long do they usually take to fix your pc?

My boss dropped a PC with their "Tech Guys" and it took them 10 days to fix something that only needed some software reinstalling in the end. Cost £70.

Another PC went yesterday, so my boss went down there and just asked one of their guys to come to our office after he finished work to have a look. He did, fixed the problem in an hour and earned himself £40.

Blue screens?

possible ram failure if you have more than one dimm trying removing one and trying the different ones to see if it fixes the problem.

no blue screens either, friend seems to think it may be the PSU

Had previous problems with a PSU and wasnt the same symptoms but you could always try taking power out of everything bar your motherboard and main HD and seeing if it runs without crashing.

I have no idea what level of PC knowledge you have - so I'm going to start with the obvious as nobody else has said it.

Did you do anything before this error started occuring?

Can you boot in safe mode?
