I don't get the material bit. Wheel 1, wheel 2, wheel 3 etc. Where are the statistics of those things?

You can change the gear from race to race. So you are not selecting it for the whole Giro, only for the Piacenza-Cremona part, which is all flat :thup:

You choose a team of 5 for the first race, and those are the 5 who will ride the whole Giro.
