I now actually just have that and Editors on a loop. Try and play along to the Editors, then have Air to stop me throwing the guitar against the wall

I would go and see Air live, but I'm really not sure what they'd be like. Get the feeling a festival-type thing would be great, but not sure about an evening out in London or somewhere to go see them.

In transit from Amazon:

Sneaky Sound System - (self titled)
Purchased this on the back of their Live Earth performance which made me sit up and take notice.

Interpol - Our Love to Admire.
I have Turn on the Bright Lights, but not Antics. If I like the new one, I may go back and get Antics.

Sonic Youth - Rather Ripped
I used to be a massive Sonic Youth fan but have fallen away from them the last couple of years. Though tbf I all but completely stopped getting music for a few years (which means I now have a massive back catalog to fill ). Time to get back into them.

Francoise Hardy - Gin Tonic
Continuing my infatuation with this woman, who may actually be the voice of an angel. I mostly have compilations (The Vogue Years, Chansons d'Amor, Messages Personel) and want to get more into the proper albums (already have Star)

Ahaha, Air at Hammersmith Apollo in November. Could be that month's gig sorted right there.

If you like TOTBL then you should like Antics. Worth it alone for Take You on a Cruise.

Saw them a few months ago as my mate had a spare ticket. Not a huge fan but I quite enjoyed them. The only problem was the amount of talking in the audience. More used to being at louder gigs which drown out the idiots who are happy to spend £15-20 to talk to their mates rather than listen to the band.

yeah, that's what I'm concerned about. Bought two anyway, so that's November sorted

New Stars album is finished, will be released in Sept.
However, to combat any leaks, the album is actually available for (legal) download from today.

Anyone heard the Strange Death of Liberal England album? I've not heard anything of theirs but read good things and Arcade Fire comparisons are a fairly common thing, pondering whether it's worth a few iTunes free songs on

As your not on MSN (unless you blocked me), quick question. Converge, you received your tickets right?

I'm sure I got mine, but I can't find them anywhere
