Simian Mobie Disco one is a bit of a disappointment though.

The Fields album is really very nice indeed, and there's new Sage Francis available, which is going to be listened to just as soon as this High Contrast album finishes.

Realy starting to look forward to new White Stripes and Queens of the Stone Age too. Listened to too much twee and electric recently. Need some guitars back in my life.

Listened to Justice - â€* again. Such a fun album.

Candie Payne's album is a real surprise. Didn't think much to her on Later with Jools but I Wish I Could Have Loved You More is actually not that bad. Not ground-breaking stuff but it does what it does very well.

I love the new HSCS, possibly even more than the first.

Also, finally got around to the new(-ish) EitS the other day, sounded pretty good on first listen, no real surprises there but they're so good at what they do.

Looking forward to new Interpol + White Stripes, but other than that I don't think there's much on the horizon from bands I know, recommendations appreciated.

New Art Brut album is great. So much fun on a cd. Fantastic lyrics yet again that make you laugh and great music. Highly recommended.
