That's what I was thinking, didn't want to say anything though.

Hadouken? Bit of an incongrous mention. Saw them open for Metric and then met the guitarist in a pub beofre another gig (The Thermals). They only had about 6 songs then. Can't see them getting anywhere but they were quite amusing.

Anyone heard the new Funeral For A Friend album, if so what's it like? I had it recommended to me, but I've not heard any of their stuff and I am a bit dubious.

the description of the band on metacritic seemed a lot like the knife. haven't listened to the field yet.

it's radio friendly rock, compared to their EPs which were in the post-hardcore genre with screaming, their previous albums were getting near what they've got now although their debut album was still sort of in the post-hardcore genre

it's very listenable though, Matt (lead singer) has a class voice and it shines through on the album, listen to some of their stuff on myspace (I think Into Oblivion is still up there) if you like that, you'll probably like the rest

Bit barren of late, honestly can't say anything new's bowled me over since the Low LP last month. Think I just need something inside me to be kickstarted. Ho hum.
