I'm going to see if I can pick this up today. I love what I have heard. Also the new Apples In Stereo album sounds great. And for all you Neutral Milk Hotel fans...The Avery Island re-release has been put back from this month. No fixed release date as Jeff Mangum is putting together a bonus disc. That news has made this a very exciting prospect indeed.

Why is No Cars Go on the new album? Wouldn't expect re-cycling of tracks (however good) from them.

Anyone listened to Clap Your Hands yet? (I think it's being released tomorrow, for the first time ever we might be ahead with album releases)

It's disappointing too, to say the least, or at least doesn't measure up to Hissing Fauna. Just had the worst weekend in history, but when chemi-cuh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh kicked in on Heidalmsgate all my worries literally melted away. Mindblowingly good.

Yes. I am loving the of Montreal album. Its just upbeat and mental.

a sentence of sorts in kongsvinger
i spent the winter on the verge of a total breakdown while living in norway
i felt the darkness of the black metal bands
but being such a faun of a man i didn't burn down any old churches just slept way too much just slept

my mind rejects the frequency it's static craziness to me is it a solar fever?
the t.v. man is too loud our plane is sleeping on a cloud you turn the dial i'll try and smile
we've eaten plastic weather this family sticks together we will escape from the south to the west side
my mind rejects the frequency it's just verbosity to me
what did he say?

i spent the winter with my nose buried in a book while trying to restructure my character
cause it had become vile to it's creator
and through many dreadful i nights i lay praying to a saint that nobody has heard of
and waiting for some high times to come again

dirty old shadow stay away don't play your games with me
i am older now i see the way you operate
if you don't hurt me then you die

Loving the lyrics.

What's Heimdalsgate?

Cannot wait for new Shins and Bloc Party - their new stuff sounded great live.
