Yesterday I had spent a day at UWE through my school, and I was wandering if any OTF'ers go there. It seemed quality but I've heard it's a bit of a cack uni compared to the rest. I know it all depends on what you want to do there but I thought I'd look at the local places first.

The uni i went to was a joke, couldnt organise a **** up in a brewery to be fair. No night life absolute shithole of a town and half the work i did i had already covered at GCSE and A Level.

Not 100% sure tbh . People just say it's the uni where the people who can't get in anywhere else go.

nah thats were i went: Trinity College, Carmarthen. Thats right i'd never heard of it
either. Only needed to get 2E's to get in.

Only ended up there because i failed my interview for my 1st choice, Cumbria Institute of Arts (now university of cumbria i believe).

I dropped out part way through second year. Just started my second year out (was only supposed to be one but had an operation).
Start at Chester in september 2008, cant wait.

UWE hasnt the best rep in terms of results compard to Bristol but it all depends on what you want to study

I take it you mean the University of WOE in Bristol? I was there for a year studying Biology (IIRC), we got stuck in Brunel college for most of our lectures, which was pretty ****. Bristol's cool though, if you don't mind the gun crime.
