For me, i had been attracted to this girl i met online for a long while. She said it wasn't gonna happen and so we lost contact. A few months later I sent her a silly sms, we got back in contact. I was seeing someone else at the time so she demanded a date before I got serious with the other one.

On said date we went to a movie and spent half an hour after it making out in the middle of the car park in driving rain with me shielding her from it. Then I just knew this was the one.

Over three years have passed and I'm still convinced

So in short, it was just a moment, a feeling that grabbed me.

You get taxed on anything above £18 in value iirc. I quite often buy cds/tshirts/etc, and if buying a lot I split up the order to avoid the charges.

It'll be over £18 in value and 1 item so not splittable unfortunately. Any idea what the tax rate is?

Isn't it cheaper on gifts, or could I get away with getting it delivered to my Aunt's house and then her delivering it on with a value of under £18?
